Here is a list of commonly used terms and abbreviations.

Blinkie: a coupon you get off the shelf from the machine. It gets its name because of he red light that flashes on it.
BOGO or B1G1: Buy one get one free
Catalina or Cat: A printed out coupon that you receive from the register after the sale has been completed.

ECB: Extra Care Buck from CVS. It is essentially money that can be used at CVS. See more about ECB‘s in the CVS section
FAR: Free after rebate
Filler: When you need to purchase an item so that you do not have a negative balance. Because the store will not pay you to take the item out of their store. Or when you have more coupons than items at Walgreens. A filler item is something small and inexpensive. Candy bar, gum, soda etc.
GC: Gift Card
GM: General Mills. An insert of coupons you receive in the weekly newspaper
IVC: Instant Value Coupon from Walgreens. Read more about IVC‘s in the Walgreens section
IP: AN internet printed coupon
MQ: A manufacturer coupon
MIR: A Mail in rebate
OOP: Out of pocket expense
OYNO: On your next order. Often a catalina (a Cat) will print off for a dollar amount off your next order
P&G: Proctor and Gamble. An insert you receive in your weekly newspaper
Peelie: A “sticker” coupon that is attached to the specific item in the store
RP: Red Plum. An insert you receive in your weekly newspaper
RR: A Register Reward from Walgreens. It is money that you can use towards your next purchase at Walgreens. See more details about a WAG in the Walgreens section
SS: Smart Source. A coupon insert that
SQ: A Store coupon
Stacking: When you ise 1 Manufacturer Coupon (MQ) and 1 Store Coupon (SQ) on 1 item
Winetag: It is coupon or Mail In Rebate that is hanging around a bottle of wine. It could be for $x off of meat, cheese, alcohol, flowers. The possibilities are endless. Some require a alcohol purchase while some do not.
WYB: When you buy
$/$$: Dollars off when you spend a specified amount. For example: $5/$25. This means you get $5 off a $25 purchase.
$1/2: $1 off 2 items
